Infrastructure Engineer - Linux/Redhat/F5 - Loadbalancing- RHEL7/8 - SSL offloading

Are you a Red Hat Linux Engineer with F5 expertise, ready to play a critical role in UK infrastructure?

We’re looking for a skilled Red Hat Linux Engineer with F5 load balancing experience to assist in supporting essential UK infrastructure. This is an impactful role where your expertise will directly contribute to the stability and performance of critical national systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and support robust Red Hat Linux environments that underpin key infrastructure.
  • Configure and manage F5 load balancers to optimize performance, ensure high availability, and reinforce resilience.
  • Monitor and fine-tune system operations, troubleshoot issues, and uphold security standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance infrastructure solutions and support national priorities.

Essential Skills:

  • Extensive experience with Red Hat Linux (RHEL 7/8) and F5 BIG-IP LTM (iRules, SSL offloading, load balancing).
  • Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) for process automation.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and best practices in security.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
