This is an exciting opportunity for a university student who is currently studying or just graduated, ideally from the LGBTQ+ community, to gain hands-on experience in developing engaging content that resonates with millennials and the LGBTQ+ audience.


Package Description

  • 1 day a week in our offices in Bethnal Green, London
  • Madame F wine to take home and enjoy
  • Opportunity to increase working hours to multiple days


As our Content Creator Intern, you will be responsible for:


Content Creation

  • Assist in developing a set of brand guidelines for Madame F using existing assets
  • Creation of marketing materials like postcards and leaflets
  • Conceptualize, film, and edit engaging and dynamic content that captures the unique energy of Madame F
  • Be proficient in photography - taking images and editing


Social Media management

  • Collaborate with the Madame F team to identify key themes, events, and messaging to be highlighted
  • Ensure the content calendar is executed seamlessly, with posts scheduled in advance
  • Craft captivating social media posts that showcase the Madame F brand and its partnership with Queer Britain, the UK's first LGBTQ+ museum
  • Create and manage video content for the platforms
  • Engage with our followers on platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook, fostering a strong sense of community
  • Respond to comments and messages in a friendly, personable, and on-brand manner
  • Identify and communicate with influencers – building up a roster of brand ambassadors


Social Media Growth

  • Analyse social media metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Suggest and implement strategies to increase followers, engagement, and overall brand awareness
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices to Keep Madame F at the forefront of the industry


Website & design

  • Process website orders, updating discount codes and some web updates
  • Updating and running email campaigns
  • Update PowerPoint decks for new business pitches


Qualifications:

  • Graduate or currently enrolled in a university program, preferably with a background in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Passion for the LGBTQ+ community and a strong understanding of the issues and experiences faced by this community
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging, on-brand content
  • Proficient in using social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to take photos and produce video content
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and content scheduling tools
  • Creativity, adaptability, and a willingness to take initiative
