The Software Developer will play an integral role in the restructuring of the production of an award-winning Aviation Navigation Systems, ensuring future scalability and succession plans are met.

The Role of Software Developer

Working primarily with C# .NET 5+ you’ll contribution to variety of critical aspects of product development such as 3D rendering, algorithm creation, microservices development, hardware communication and user interface design. The responsibilities of the role will necessarily be broad and varied. You’ll work across all the product platforms Android tablet, Windows desktop, and online microservices.

On top of a comprehensive design and development responsibilities here are some examples of the many and varied tasks you’ll take ownership for.

  • Exploring DirectX or OpenGL for graphics development
  • Creating user-friendly interfaces for both Windows desktop and mobile/tablet devices
  • Collaborate with source control systems (SVN or GIT) and Unit Testing Frameworks
  • Access performance profiling tooling for optimization

You’ll work within a highly collaborative, cross-functional team moving towards and adapted Agile delivery environment.

The Person

You’ll be able to demonstrate a proactive and pragmatic approach to software engineering from design to deployment, with excellent attention to detail and the discipline and commitment to produce consistently high-quality software.

Essential

The main essential skill is in Object-Oriented Programming, ideally in C# .NET but expertise in C++ or VB.NET would also be highly desirable.

You’ll have track record of taking ownership of and solving complex problems and be able to demonstrate a proactive approach to software engineering, design and deployment.
