GMGN Labs is a start-up digital marketing agency specialising in emerging tech working with some of the world’s biggest brands. We are obsessed with immersive storytelling that harnesses the power of web3, social media, and emerging technologies.
We speak the language of the internet, and a big part of your job will be translating a client’s objective into a strategy perfect for whatever platform it will live on.
We’re looking for a curiously-minded and driven individual who has prior experience in developing strategies and executing client campaigns both in web3 and web2, across multiple channels to a high standard.
We’d also like you to be nice. That’s a non-negotiable.
You’ll be working in exciting new and emerging industries, as well as developed verticals from sport and entertainment, to DeFi and new technology. Being curious about our client’s worlds, challenges and ambitions is a must as we execute strategies that innovate and push boundaries.
As a Strategy Manager (Web2 & Web3), you will:
- Lead research and insights to understand the industry, audience, and the context of our clients' worlds.
- Write effective briefs and know what makes them impactful.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies tailored to each client.
- Confidently present strategies to clients, ensuring clarity and securing buy-in for our strategic direction.
- Translate strategies into detailed communication plans and content calendars.
- Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams—including marketing, creative, and technical departments—to ensure cohesive and effective campaign execution.
- Stay current on market trends and technological advancements
- Inject your Web3 knowledge, helping to guide and inform both clients and the broader team on opportunities and innovations
- Provide your point of view and analysis on campaign performance and reporting.
- Regularly engage with clients, responding to feedback to ensure strategies adapt to client needs and brand ecosystems.
- Ensure all deliverables align with the client’s brand, message, and goals—attention to detail is key
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in a strategist or similar role.
- Experience in a marketing agency environment.
- Experience / knowledge of Web3, blockchain, and emerging technologies, with a focus on applying these innovations to real-world campaigns
- Deeply curious–interested in web3, new tech, trends, and opportunities, and attuned to global culture.
- Fun and nice—we enjoy working with fun, nice people
- Hungry to learn, grow, and succeed (not for food—but if you are, we can send care packages).
- Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms like Discord, Telegram, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ideally you will have;
- 5+ years experience in marketing agency environment
- Experience in Sports Marketing / working with large Sports brands / teams / leagues / Gaming Marketing / game publishers
- Hands on experience of the Web3 and launching projects in this space
- Degree / qualification in marketing / social media marketing / digital marketing / psychology or related field

- Flexi-hours: Our hours are 9am - 6pm but, providing you’re available for calls and meetings as necessary, when you work those is up to you We do ask that you are online and available between 10am - 4pm consistently though.
