Intune / Modern Desktop Engineer – Windows 11 Rollout

Contract Role

Rate: £300 - £400 per day

Location: London / Hybrid working from home 50% of the time

Duration: 12 months

We are looking for an experienced Intune/Modern Desktop Engineer to assist with a critical Windows 11 rollout project . This role is pivotal in leveraging Windows Autopilot and Microsoft Intune to streamline the deployment, ensuring a secure and efficient transition for end-user devices across the organization.

You will work within a global infrastructure team, contributing your expertise to deliver a smooth deployment process while ensuring all devices are effectively managed, patched, and secured.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the rollout of Windows 11 using Windows Autopilot , ensuring seamless deployment and management via Intune .
  • Optimize the device provisioning process, including the creation and implementation of deployment profiles, policies, and configurations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address challenges and ensure compliance with security and operational standards.

What We’re Looking For:

Skills and Competencies

  • Proven experience in Windows 10/11 rollouts using Autopilot and Microsoft Intune .
  • Strong expertise in troubleshooting device provisioning, operating systems, and deployment profiles.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset and excellent communication skills.

Experience and Certifications

  • Experience in enterprise-level device management and deployment.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator or Microsoft Certified Endpoint Manager are highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with endpoint security practices and remote device management.
