Technology is reshaping the way we live Learn and thrive. In this "always-on" world, we believe it is meaningful to have a genuine connection with the work you do. The epicenter of this transformation is powered by the world's most sophisticated networks - the connectivity we create. Our experienced employees are rethinking the purpose, role, and use of our networks across the globe; to increase bandwidth, expand capacity, improve efficiency, speed deployment, and simplify migration.
Commscope are recruiting a Quality Engineer based in Malton, North Yorkshire where you will work closely with product managers, production leaders, sales, and R&D.
How You'll Help us Connect The World
It is a technical role that requires strong analytical/mathematical attitudes and a methodical approach. It requires understanding customer requirements and delivering results that meet customer needs.
The priorities of this role include:
- Continuous improvement: products or processes can always be made better. Working in the lab, on the production line, in the meeting room with the concerned people. Providing innovative resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems.
- Data analysis: all conclusions and decisions must be supported by data. Only data can tell how things go really and exclude assumptions based on “feelings”. Statistics is our guide.
- Variation removal: by removing sources of variation, we achieve standardization and efficiency; we allow reliable planning and delivery as per expectations.
- Waste reduction: all possible causes for waste must be hunted, understood and eliminated, maximizing the efficiency.

- Strong investigative and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
