Their proven track record reflects a commitment to excellence, reliability, and client satisfaction on every project.The ProjectAs a highly experienced Electrical Site Supervisor, you will play a key role on the refurbishment of an existing residential development located in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Your responsibilities will include supervising and coordinating the work of electrical teams and subcontractors, conducting regular inspections, and addressing technical issues as they arise. This role is essential to delivering a safe, reliable, and efficient electrical system for the refurbishment.RequirementsFor this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;SSSTS CSCS CardFirst Aid - Desirable not essentialIt is also essential that you hold the experience below;Proven industry expertise with a track record of successfully supervising electrical works on residential refurbishment projectsExtensive background within the industry with at least 2 years of experience working in an Electrical Site Supervisor position or similarAdditional skills;Quality controlStrong electrical knowledgeImpressive leadership and mentoring abilitiesCapacity to prioritise health and safety effectivelyGood knowledge of construction laws and regulationsA solid understanding of construction materials, methods, and techniquesKnowledge of safety protocols and regulations pertaining to finishing tasksStrong written and verbal communication skills with a thorough meticulous eye for detailA wide understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards relevant to the industryThe RoleJob Title: Electrical Site SupervisorJob Type: Long-term freelanceProject: Student accommodation refurbishmentLocation: LeedsDuration: 10 monthsReporting to: Project ManagerDutiesInductionsUpdating RAMsSupervise subcontractorsRegularly attending safety meetingsUpdating and efficiently managing site diariesImplement and uphold safety and health protocols on-siteWork closely and regularly report into the Project ManagerPromoting and maintaining a safe and healthy work environmentMaintain accurate documentation of all technical issues and their resolutionsMonitor work-related expenses to ensure they stay within the allocated budgetParticipate in project meetings by contributing to discussions and providing updatesOversee material usage and ensure that supplies are ordered and received promptlyCompile and present regular progress reports to project managers and stakeholdersFacilitate clear communication between the project team, clients, and other stakeholdersPerform risk assessments and ensure that all potential hazards are addressed and mitigatedAttending and contributing in project meetings, engaging in discussions and providing updatesMonitor material usage and ensure that supplies are ordered and delivered in a timely mannerEnsure that all documentation, including plans, reports, and records, is up-to-date and accurately maintainedDevelop and oversee task plans and schedules to ensure they are in line with project timelines and key milestonesMonitor and manage the daily operations of contractors, ensuring adherence to project plans and specificationsConduct regular site inspections, confirming it meets quality standards and adheres to relevant regulations and guidelinesThis is a long-term freelance position with a competitive rate on offer for the successful candidate.
