Senior Software Engineer - Oxfordshire/Hybrid - £100-120K

Austin Fraser is currently supporting an innovative and award-winning organisation in Oxfordshire who are continuously striving to solve global challenges.

They are currently looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a focus on AWS to join on a permanent basis. You will play a key role in shaping the architectural vision and strategy for their cloud-based applications. Furthermore, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and DevOps, to design and implement scalable, high-performance, and secure software solutions.

Requirements:

  • Extensive software development experience with at least 3+ years in an architecture or senior technical leadership role.
  • AWS expertise,
  • Proven experience designing and implementing complex, large-scale, distributed systems in the cloud.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectural patterns such as microservices, serverless, event-driven architecture, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience mentoring junior staff and providing guidance on architectural decisions.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Desirable: Certifications in AWS or cloud architecture.

Location: Oxfordshire/Hybrid.

Salary: £100-120K depending on experience + benefits.
