Spare Parts Planning Consultant (SAP Expert)

Hybrid (London) | Up to £75,000 + Bonus

The Opportunity:

Are you an experienced Spare Parts Planning Consultant looking to join a key project, leading the discovery phase for a leading organisation?

You will bring deep expertise in SAP , specialising in spare parts planning within sectors like Automotive, Aviation, or Aerospace .

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Analyse current spare parts planning processes, including inventory management, demand forecasting, and replenishment strategies.
  • Design and define future-state capabilities using SAP tools to optimise inventory and boost service levels.
  • Review and recommend enhancements to the SAP landscape, suggesting SAP or non-SAP solutions as needed.
  • Lead stakeholder workshops, gathering requirements and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Develop a transition strategy, including change management and training plans for a smooth implementation.
  • Ensure integration of spare parts planning with other supply chain functions, contributing to the Target Operating Model (TOM).

What You’ll Bring:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in spare parts planning with SAP (SCM/APO SPP, S/4HANA eSPP, SAP IBP).
  • Strong knowledge of demand forecasting , lifecycle management, safety stock calculations, and multi-echelon planning.
  • Proven expertise in configuring and optimising SAP tools for spare parts management.
  • Industry experience in automotive, aerospace , or industrial equipment is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with additional planning tools (e.g., Servigistics, Baxter Planning).
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging senior stakeholders and leading client interactions.
