Quantitative Analyst Internship - Finance Industry

Position Overview:


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual for a Quantitative Analyst Internship position at Perspective Invest Limited. As part of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement cutting-edge quantitative models that drive our investment strategies. Key Responsibilities:

 

-       Analyze complex financial data to optimize algorithms and produce insightful reports.

-       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new financial models.

-       Develop, test, and maintain high-quality code in our models and systems, ensuring robustness and scalability.

-       Integrate external data sources and APIs to enhance our data analytics capabilities.

-       Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in machine learning and LLMs.

-       Document code and system functionalities for internal and external stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:


-       Currently pursuing a degree or recent graduate in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, Physics or a related field.

-       Strong proficiency in Python programming, with a focus on data analysis.

-       Up to date knowledge of machine learning models and LLMs.

-       Strong knowledge and experience in ingesting data via APIs and web scraping.

-       Basic understanding of financial concepts and markets.

-       Familiarity with databases (e.g., SQL) and data visualization tools

-       Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

-       Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

-       Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

 

Preferred Skills:


-       Previous experience or coursework in finance and financial modeling.

-       Previous experience analysing/pricing options

-       Knowledge of other programming languages or frameworks is a plus (e.g., R, Java, C++).
