Hi,


We are currently seeking to fill a Deputy Manager position in our residential care setting.


As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the overall management of the home, ensuring that we provide a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment for children and young people. You will work closely with the Manager to oversee operations, lead staff, and implement effective care strategies tailored to the unique needs of those with emotional and behavioural challenges.


In this position, your responsibilities will include:


  • Assisting in Management: Supporting the Manager in the daily operations of the home, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
  • Team Leadership: Providing guidance and support to staff members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Care Planning: Contributing to the development and implementation of personalized care plans that address the emotional and behavioural needs of the children and young people in our care.
  • Communication and Coordination: Building strong relationships with families, external agencies, and other professionals to facilitate a comprehensive approach to care and support.

We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for making a positive impact in the lives of children and young people, particularly those facing emotional and behavioural challenges. Your experience and dedication would be invaluable in this role.
