Freight Account Manager - Multimodal Air Freight, Sea Freight or Road Freight


Leading specialists in worldwide freight forwarding and management services.


Package

An uncapped and incentivised bonus scheme which is one of the best in the industry paying up to 20% of GP. A genuine annual OTE potential of upwards £100,000+.


  • Salary: 45k - 65k dependent on experience
  • Additional: Company Car/ Car Allowance, Mobile Phone, Laptop/ Ipad
  • Uncapped Commission Structure: up to 20% of GP, paid monthly
  • Shareholding 20%-40%


Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Telesales, identifying and prospecting new business leads
  • Arranging appointments
  • Job costing and preparing quotes
  • Overseeing and operating movement of cargo via Road, Air or Sea Freight
  • Ensuring retention of business
  • Providing a first class customer service
  • Regularly liaising with customers, keeping them informed and dealing with any questions or enquiries


Required experience:

  • Extensive experience within freight forwarding sales.
  • Experience of generating own sales leads.
  • Experience selling multimodal sea and air services desired but not essential.
  • Experience managing customer accounts and increasing revenue.


We will only be considering applicants who have experience and are currently working for a Freight Forwarder in the UK.
