Salary up to £50k, negotiable depending on experience.

PURPOSE SUMMARY: The primary purpose of the role: Responsibility for the financial and accounting reporting of F2ML products and for reporting the financial results to the Managing Director and to the central Financial Controller. The job holder will be required to analyse the results, they will be responsible for the month and year end close and highlight areas of financial risk, as well as opportunities for growth / improved profitability to the F2ML Management Team.


As well as this this the role supports the Leasys Finance function, with pricing, reporting, reconciliations, forecasting and ad-hoq queries.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Creation of P&L for F2ML and for all financial provisions, budget forecasts and actuals. They will also be responsible for preparing the following year's budget

- Implementation of tools/KPI's as well as recommendations to improve the profitability of the Business Unit

-The costings and profitability calculations for all products (internal/central workflow)

- Contribution to the milestones of the governance strategy to manage Contract Hire risk and structured according to the 3 phases of the life of the contract (contract initiation, life of the contract and vehicle resale)

- Co-ordination with Central and JVUK accounting teams for provisions, with UVO and F2ML Remarketing / RV Manager for profitability of used vehicles sales and with the JV/BPF for the consolidation of the P&L global accounts

- Any requirements linked to the maintaining and evolutions of the IT systems for accounting/Finance and the interfaces with the Brands/JV, (e.g. INCA, SI BtB/VO, ...)

- Cash flow forecasting for Leasys UK business unit

- Various monthly report ownership for local and head office management


PERFORMANCE MEASURES:

Completing the monthly closing and reporting timetable on time.


ABILITY AND SKILLS PROFILE:

- Interdepartmental working with Operational, Commercial and Sales teams is desirable

- Ability to communicate finance to none financial based individuals

- ability to work within a team




KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)

- Experience of closing month end and year end accounts essential

- Knowledge and experience of the motor and / or leasing industry is desirable


IT SKILLS PROFILE:

Intermediate / Advance excel skills Essential
