Ince, United Kingdom Evero Full time
Job Description

ABOUT US

At Evero we are reimagining waste. Where others see a problem, we see a solution.

Our low carbon energy recovery facilities turn waste into electricity.

Our fleet of assets has a total capacity of 145MW. We divert around 1 million tonnes of waste from landfill every year.

Evero is working to bring our planet back in to balance. Deploying our expertise in gasification technology, we want to use waste to displace high carbon fossil based products.

There is a future where we can make our world work better. At Evero, we have the imagination to unlock it, and the knowledge to do so.

WHAT WE OFFER

We are proud to play a role in the ongoing efforts to move toward a more sustainable future in energy generation and here you can work with the satisfaction of knowing that everything you do is focused on contributing toward that objective.

Our employee benefits package includes;

  • Private Healthcare (including Wellbeing services)
  • Company Pension
  • Life Assurance

There are also significant opportunities for career advancement and training (both internal and external) in what is a fast growing sector.

INCLUSIVITY

At Evero, our policy is to employ the best, highly capable and competent people and provide equal opportunity for the advancement of employees including promotion and training.

We do not discriminate against any person because of gender, race, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, religion, belief or disability.

THE ROLE

The Development Managers play a key role within the overall Carbon Capture programme within Evero, leading, supporting and delivering key components across the Evero investment pipeline.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project manage opportunities through to final investment decision
  • Develop new opportunities across the existing portfolio to monetise carbon emissions from carbon capture utilisation and storage (CCUS)
  • Define project scope, costs, timelines, risks and other deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Create and maintain project business cases including participation in project economics
  • Lead Evero’s engagement with trade associations and support engagement with government bodies, specific to carbon solutions, as subject matter expert

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCES

We are open to considering applicants from a range of different industry backgrounds, it's not essential to have prior experience in the energy transition, de-carbonisation, renewables, energy generation, waste management or waste-to-energy fields, although it can of course be beneficial.

We would however expect suitable applicants to match with at least some of the following;

  • Demonstrable commercial acumen, with proven data analytics skills and an ability to manage and collate varied information sources to support your project(s)
  • Experience in a similar or related role in the renewables, infrastructure, energy, or waste sectors
  • Familiar with Excel investment models to navigate and understand key sensitivities to value
  • Excellent English language written and verbal communication sufficient to meet the needs of a wide range of stakeholders
  • Commercially astute, with proven data analytics skills and an ability to manage multiple sources of information

Please note that we do not welcome any agency / 3rd party involvement or approaches on this vacancy until a time we deem to be suitable and at which point we will work with our preferred suppliers only.
