Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Enterprise Solutions Architect at CloudFirst. The Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable and secure enterprise solutions.


The role involves collaborating with our partners, end customers and internal teams to design the technical solution to move our customers from on premise IT architecture to our hosted cloud solution. In addition you will be responsible for all aspects of the solution including Security and Managed Back up and recovery services.


This is not a sit at home and answer emails role. The job involves regular UK based travel and a full driving license is required.


Qualifications

  • Mandatory: Experience with IBM Power Systems, AIX, Linux & Windows
  • Mandatory: Experience providing Disaster Recovery, Backup, and High Availability solutions
  • Preferred: Cloud Sales Experience
  • Preferred: Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Storage expertise
  • Preferred: Experience with the GSI / VAR / MSP marketplace
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
