About Us

The Growth Engineering Team plays a vital role in expanding Reddit’s reach in the US and international markets by developing features that convert, onboard, and retain users.

We are looking for a Fullstack Engineer to join our Growth team. This is a contract position, where you will collaborate with Senior and Staff Engineers to design, implement, and maintain features planned for release in 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable systems to drive user growth across diverse markets.
  • Develop both the front-end and back-end of applications that integrate with core user flows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation and delivery of features.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience as a Fullstack Engineer.
  • Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages, such as Python, Java, or Go.
  • Experience working with modern web development frameworks like React, Angular, or WebComponents.
  • Must have at least 5 hours of daily overlap with US time zones.

Bonus Points

  • Experience building distributed, high-scale services.
  • Familiarity with Redis or similar storage systems.
  • Knowledge of GraphQL.

Work Schedule

Flexibility to work in alignment with US working hours is required.
