Job Description

Are you an experienced Radiotherapist with NHS experience looking for a new opportunity? We have multiple positions available in the London area and rest of UK.

.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer radiotherapy treatments to patients as prescribed by oncologists.
  • Operate and maintain radiotherapy equipment, specifically Elekta or Varian systems, ensuring accurate and precise delivery of treatment.
  • Monitor patients during treatment sessions, providing support and addressing any concerns.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including oncologists, radiologists, and medical physicists, to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiotherapy techniques and technologies.


Qualifications:

  • Essential:
  • BSc in Radiotherapy or equivalent.
  • Must be registered with the HCPC.
  • Extensive NHS (UK) experience.
  • Trained and experienced in using Elekta or Varian radiotherapy equipment.
  • Evidence of appropriate CPD activity.


Skills and Aptitudes:

  • Good theoretical knowledge of a range of treatment techniques, advanced techniques, IGRT, and planning.
  • Participation in the development and implementation of techniques and procedures.
  • High level of communication skills, including the ability to deal with anxious and demanding patients and careers.
  • Importance of accuracy and attention to detail.
