Transformation Director | Programme Director - Finance Transformation - Insurance | Pensions | Asset Management | Wealth Management


Our high profile Financial Services client is seeking an exceptional Programme Director / Transformation Director with an exceptional background in leading finance IT modernisation and and change across both Technology and Finance business process.


The role requires deep Finance IT systems, people and process change leadership along with outstanding stakeholder, executive leadership, business and technology stakeholder influencing and leadership credential.


The modernisation is to lead people and technology implementation bringing the finance systems, process, operations into the modern digital era. It has a particular focus to evolve the modernisation of culture, behaviours, and methods used across finance:


e.g. Actuarial, finance operations, Tax, reporting, cash management, Financial Control & Governance, etc,


Key skills required include experience in:


Finance Technology Transformation Senior Leadership


You will be able to demonstrate successful full lifecycle transformation in finance transformation as the Programme owner and leader in previous roles with an effective track record in success and experience that includes:


  • Programme Director experience in full multi-year lifecycle IT systems programme strategy, governance in Finance and Actuarial environments
  • Digital Transformation leadership across finance and actuarial change
  • Strong understanding of modern financial systems, including Finance systems, actuarial systems (Valuation systems e.g. Prophet, AXIS, etc, Data Integration - finance/risk modelling, Risk Pricing, etc), and cloud-based platforms.
  • Deep Change Management Expertise e.g. structured change management methodologies (e.g., PROSCI, ADKAR, Kotter’s Change Model).
  • Excellent ability to lead change with the people, bringing them with you
  • Outstanding Stakeholder Engagement and Communication/Influencing
  • Training/Upskilling strategies and high EQ
  • Modern Finance Culture building
  • Financial Regulators
  • Transformation steering committees, Boards, etc
  • Operational readiness strategy
  • Data-Driven Decision Making & Agile approaches


The role is Central London based, Permanent and likely requires 4 days p/w in office
