Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a 6-month paid internship with a Data Privacy Consulting firm


Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Privacy Intern to join their team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of data privacy and consulting. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, highly organised, and passionate about data protection and privacy regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of data privacy policies and procedures.
  • Support the data privacy team in conducting privacy impact assessments and risk analyses.
  • Help monitor compliance with data protection regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
  • Participate in the review and update of data privacy documentation and records.
  • Assist in responding to data subject access requests and privacy-related inquiries.
  • Conduct research on emerging data privacy trends and regulatory changes.
  • Help organize and maintain data privacy training materials and resources.
  • Participate in internal audits and compliance reviews.


About You:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Law, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in data privacy and protection.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


Work Schedule:

  • Part-time position with flexible hours.
  • Remote work options available.
