The Müller brand is ranked at No.7 in The Grocer’s Top 100 list of Britain’s Biggest Brands, and is also the 7th most chosen brand in the UK.We’re recruiting … Production OperativesWe are currently recruiting for Production Operatives within Flavoured Milk departments at Muller Severnside.The purpose of this role is to undertake relevant Production duties to ensure smooth running of operations and delivery of the daily Production Plan.The Ideal candidate would be hard working, a quick leaner and have production experience within a food manufacturing environment however food manufacturing experience isn’t a requirement.Contract: Full Time / PermShift Pattern: – 4 on 4 off 2 days 2 nights (6-6)Location: Severnside - StroudResponsibilities: Follow all relevant legal compliance, and company policies and proceduresTake responsibility for performance compliance.Demonstrate and promote the company values and principles.Actively undertake any training and development to provide effective succession planning and develop a high performing team.Work with the team to identify, implement and sustain cost saving initiatives.Deliver business initiatives to reduce waste.Ensure all dairy plant and equipment is appropriately cared for by raising issues to Team Leader.Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards and requirements.Ensure all quality system controls and procedures are followed effectively to maintain product integrity.Muller Responsibilities: Demonstrate commitment to Health & Safety by appropriately and challenging unsafe practices, raising hazards and responding promptly and effectively to all hazards raised by others.Actively support and encourage all relevant group Health & Safety and EMS practices and improvement initiatives.Ensure that all relevant Health and Safety and EMS practices are adhered to.Contribute to the improvement of improvement initiatives documented in the Site Annual Operating PlanEnsure that all relevant data is captured and recorded promptly.To understand and be accountable for the performance measures within your control.ChallengesTime management due to the time sensitive nature of the operation.Resistance to changePlant and equipment reliability reportingWorking within a variety of roles from chill work to ambient work.Demonstrable skills, experience and knowledge within the following:Previous experience within a temperature controlled environmentTeamwork & CollaborationCapability & AccountabilityA flexible approach; able to adapt to changing daily production plansA good listener/communicatorAble to demonstrate initiative and prioritisation skillsEffective team workerCompensation & Benefits: We value our people and are proud to offer a wide range of benefits:Enhanced overtime ratesMonthly paidSalary sacrifice Pension scheme with Muller matching up to 4%Life Assurance at 2 x your annual salaryWe know it’s important to take time to spend with family and friends, we give you the equivalent of *5 weeks holiday
