Escape Recruitment Services Commercial Division are recruiting for our client, a successful SME, fast paced and entrepreneurial company based in South Ayrshire, with further grow planned. This role is a site based role.They have an excellent opportunity for an experienced General Ledger Team Manager to join their Finance function on a permanent basis. You will report to the Head of Finance and will be fully responsible for managing the day to day financial accounting operations whilst managing an established team of circa. 5.Responsibilities IncludeTake overall responsibility for all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities within a high volume transactional finance functionEnsuring your team deliver agreed service levels and are compliant with established processDeal with any invoicing escalation queries and provide resolutionManagement cashflow and reporting working capital requirementsProvide financial reports to support management accounts, forecasting, budgets and other ad-hoc requirementsMaintain strong relationships with external customers, suppliers and internal departmentsDay to day management of the team including training, development and one to onesInternal Stakeholder managementIdentify opportunities for process and system improvements and support with change managementBackground RequiredSolid experience of working in General Ledger, with an understanding of both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, within a fast paced high volume transactional environmentStrong people management experienceExceptional communication skills including delivering a high standard of service to external customers and suppliers, internal departments, Stakeholders and non-financial staffHighly numerate and analytical with a problem-solving capabilityAdvanced MS Excel skills
