Role: Release Management Analyst

Location: London, EC4R - Hybrid.... 3 days on site

Summary:

This role is required to support the design and development of the Non Financial Regulatory Reporting system components supporting various operations and regulatory requirements and requires strong technical knowledge and a solid foundation of software design and development methodologies. Must be able to support Release and Change management related functions in a structured manner. Successful applicants will help enhance, build and deliver application frameworks and specific functionality around Regulatory Technology.

In this role, you will:

  • Support initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments supporting DevOps
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Help resolve vulnerabilities and critical upgrades needed around the different infrastructure components, while leveraging solid understanding of the policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Act as Single Point of Contact for Change Management for Regulatory Technology related changes

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years hands-on experience in managing applications on Unix Operating Systems
  • 2+ years developing automations using bash/shell scripting
  • 2+ years experience in one or more deployment tools like UCD , Harness
  • 1+ years of Core JAVA experience
  • 1+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
  • 1+ years of relational database experience with SQL

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of application design and development in a client server architecture
  • Should have sound knowledge on application security vulnerabilities(SAST/DAST/SCA)
  • Exposure to infrastructure related work items like MQ Series, Solace, Oracle Coherence Cache, and MSSQL And Mongo databases.
  • Knowledge on DevOps tools and approach like CI/CD pipeline , Jenkins and JIRA for tracking.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Candidate should have hands-on experience in Release management like release cycle planning , Sprint tracking , follow up on QA/UAT cycles.
