Role: Business Analyst (Treasury & Liquidity)

Project: Loan portfolio transformation

Client: Global top-tier bank

Contract: 6 month rolling (multi-year scope)

Rate: £500-550/d inside IR35


X4 Technology are offering the opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join a global top-tier bank on a long-term engagement.


Working within their Treasury & Liquidity domain, the successful Business Analyst will be supporting a high profile project to review, optimise and transform their portfolio of loans - with the end goal of understanding what sections of their portfolio can be reasonably pledged to local central banks given some of the constraints they need to abide by in contractual agreements.


This is a full end-to-end project, starting with identifying and documenting the existing loan portfolio by each legal entity of the organisation. It will then move into full execution including creating a portfolio for prioritisation, confirming storage solution, extracting selected loan contracts, determining eligibility to pre-position, triaging bespoke contracts and finalising portfolios for external counsel.


Requirements for Contract Business Analyst (Treasury & Liquidity)

  • Proven Business Analysis experience within global top-tier banks
  • Specific experience working within Treasury and Liquidity
  • Strong loan knowledge (corporate loans would be ideal)
  • Familiarity with the Bank Recovery & Resolution Directive
  • Target operating model and data lineage experience


This is an urgent contract position with first stage interviews being lined up from Monday 9th December with view to having the role started by early 2025.
