Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Planner to be engaged on a permanent basis, based in Cumbria.The OpportunityThe candidate will be working alongside the project manager and operational team to produce schedules of work on multi discipline projects.Key responsibilities: Support the project manager and operational team in the successful planning and control of project delivery utilising a range of planning and reporting tools and techniques.Ensure that the project reporting requirements are met for both internal and clientWork with project team to ensure project schedules are accurately developed and maintained with accurate resourceProvide guidance and leadership to planning teamAddress planning issues that arise and adapt plan to ensure project deliverySupport in the production of tender information on siteLiaise with the operational and technical design teamEnsure the progress of the project is running to time scales and cost plans agreedThe preparation and development of effective project planning schedule and project controls using Primavera P6 and associated planning software.The preparation, development and maintenance of effective project reporting tools following established company processes and best practice.Working collaboratively, develop and maintain client relationshipsEnsure that the quality of the service (internally and externally) is developed and improved.Any other reasonable duties as requiredFor more information on this role or to register your interest for future job updates, please visitWhy We're Different: Westlakes Recruit are a people solutions business that understands the complexities of nuclear and the importance of our clients' mission critical objectives.Smarter, faster, more agile - we have a laser focus on nuclear, with deep sectoral knowledge.We develop nuclear talent pools before you know you need them We do Nuclear.
