Outsource UK has partnered with a major UK retailer that is looking to hire a WMS Engineer to join their engineering team.

As a WMS Engineer, you’ll help modernise their Logistics Tech, focusing on systems like Blue Yonder WMS, Manhattan, and Korber's Warehouse Advantage.

Using your expertise in WMS configuration , warehouse processes, SQL Server, and Azure Cloud, you’ll design, develop, and support key systems. You’ll coach peers, deliver impactful results for Logistics teams, and shape their technical roadmap while balancing cost and service implications.

Key skills:

  • Expertise in one or more WMS platforms: Blue Yonder, Manhattan, or Korber’s Warehouse Advantage.
  • Proficiency in programming, ideally with SQL.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering and architectural principles.
  • Experience in software design, implementation, security, and cloud technologies.
  • A self-driven approach with a focus on improving teams and peers.
  • Commitment to agile/lean delivery methodologies.
  • Passion for delivering customer-focused solutions and embracing DevOps principles.
  • Curiosity for emerging technologies and a drive for continuous learning.
  • Empathy and support for team collaboration and delivery.
  • Experience in migration activities and hypercare.
