This full-time, onsite role offers an opportunity to work within our Papermill department in achieving goals related to efficiency and quality aims in accordance with the Group’s policies.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES On behalf of the Plant Manager: Ensure the achievement of productive, quality and cost-effective aims established in full compliance with: provisions and policies in matters of safety, environment and product’s safety; ISO 9001 Quality SystemSupport the relationships with stakeholders from a technical point of viewSupport the Country Operations Manager in the formulation of budget proposals related to production and maintenance costsLiaise with the other depts. in order to maximise productivity, efficiency and service to clientsCheck and manage production and maintenance costsGuarantee the correct management and maintenance of plantsGuarantee optimisation of energy consumption and exploitation of raw materialsCheck and validate production reportsCollaborate with the CTO area personnel in the process of permanent improvement in matters of: productive efficiency; production costs; energy and raw materials consumption; environmental impactManage relationships with the plant’s trade unions representatives in accordance with the Group’s policiesEnsure professional development of the technical personnelPromote a safety-bound corporate culturePromote the Corporate Principles and ValuesDUTIES INCLUDE: Checking and validating production reportsCollect, monitor and analyse production data from the Paper Mill (Production Output, Downtime, Quality) to identify any trends and to ensure targets are being met through the use of root cause analysisSupport the Country Operations Manager in the formulation of budget proposals related to production and maintenance costsCreate and review documentation related to health and safety including Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of WorkSupport the Production Manager in chemical products managementSupport the Production Manager in troubleshoot production issuesCreate and review documentation for good practices in the plant, 5s, OPLs and the training of the relevant peopleSupport the Production Manager to schedule production related activitiesTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environmentA relevant degree or equivalent experienceDemonstrate interpersonal skills, teamwork and leadership capabilityPACKAGE/BENEFITS: Competitive SalaryCompany Sick PayPension contribution plus salary sacrifice optionPrivate Health InsuranceLife Assurance (3x annual salary)Discount on Company productsFull time - 37.5 hours per week23 days annual leave, rising to 25 with service (+ public holidays)
