Job Description

Job Title: Transfer Pricing Manager – EMEA - 12-month contract


Base Location: London, more specifically Fenchurch Street would be your base location looking at ideally 2 days a week in the office.


I am working with a global Insurer & Reinsurer who is looking to bring on an experienced Transfer Pricing Manager to join its successful and dynamic Tax team where you would be reporting jointly to the Head of Cross Border Enablement and Head of Tax.

There three main components which make up this role are the following:

  • Ownership on documentation reviewing processing
  • Business Partnering
  • Financial and Data analysis including the reviewing of financial statements, policies and expenses


What will you be doing?

The Main day to day responsibilities to this role are as follows:

  • Identifying and advising on risks associated with the implementation of existing Transfer Pricing policies.
  • Seeking opportunities to implement improved Trasnfer pricing processes and controls.
  • Identifying and advising on transfer pricing associated tax risks associated with our growing international presence and work of national and supranational organisations, such as the OECD.
  • Maintaining and reinforcing relationships for any ongoing transfer pricing engagements with external advisers.
  • Input where required on EMEA tax audits instigated by local tax authorities, including providing technical transfer pricing input and working with our advisers assisting with the audits.
  • Applying the process and controls through business-as-usual tasks, using best practice methods and collaboration with other Business Partners (Legal, HR, FP&A, Controllership, Expenses, etc.).



What will you need to do it?

  • You will need to be either a Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CTA) or qualified by experience.
  • Ideally you would need to have Transfer pricing experience from the insurance or financial services Sector. This could either be from Practice or Industry.
  • Ideally you would have EMEA/International exposure from the Transfer Pricing career.
