Role Summary
Gibb Medical & Rescue are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth of our medical staffing service. Reporting directly to the Divisional Director, the Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in the market, driving B2B sales, and identifying new opportunities for service development and strategic growth.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to drive growth in the medical staffing department, focusing on B2B sales channels.
- Identify and target new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including decision-makers and influencers within target organisations.
- Collaborate with the medical staffing team to identify and develop new sectors and services that align with market needs and trends.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for growth.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities to senior management.

- Proven track record of success in business development within the medical staffing industry
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, with experience in identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse market trends and develop innovative growth strategies.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
