About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager ideally (2-4 years) to help our public sector client guide there product team and take ownership of the product portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Product, you will provide vision, leadership, and direction to drive success across our product ecosystem and within our local product community.
As a Product Manager, you’ll help lead both people and products. You’ll balance strategic oversight with hands-on engagement, leading our high-level roadmap and supporting the service owner or programme lead in a variety of programme management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be as interested in managing people as managing products.
- Work closely with the head of product (where they exist as a separate role) to provide leadership and direction to all products in a programme or a local product community
- Maintain the high level roadmap.
- Be involved in a range of programme management activities in support of the service owner or programme lead.
- Champion the product vision within the programme and foster a collaborative, innovative product culture within the local product community.
About You:
- Strong experience in product management
- Proven track record of working in complex, multi-product environments.
- Excellent leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
- Experience in creating and managing roadmaps that align with programme objectives.
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations, especially in high-impact or fast-paced environments.
- Background in Agile and Lean practices.
- Strong marketplace knowledge.
- Experience with Government Digitalisation Projects is highly desirable.
