Job Title: Senior Manager – Analytics Engineering

The ideal candidate will lead a data & analytics engineering team, collaborating with Data Science, Product and Engineering teams to develop innovative data solutions that improve healthcare delivery across Best Buy Health.

About the Role:
  • Lead and inspire the UK-based data & analytics engineering team, fostering a positive work environment and driving business goals.
  • Manage technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, dbt, Airflow, NiFi, and Databricks to ensure timely and efficient data delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with the company's overall data strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and integrate data solutions for care delivery, ensuring data is cleaned, processed, harmonized, and curated in alignment with industry standards.
  • Serve as a thought partner to other teams during the ideation and design of new solutions.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in data science, health informatics, computer science, or related field.
  • 3 years management experience, including experience in a matrix environment.
  • Proficiency in Python, dbt, Airflow, SQL, and cloud environments such as AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks.
