About The CompanyMy client an established design and manufacturer of bespoke, capital equipment solutions are currently looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer / Control Panel Wirer to join the business.The Electrical Engineer / Panel Wirer will be responsible for fitting out, wiring and testing bespoke control system panels, following provided layout and wiring drawings, ensuring work is carried out to appropriate company standards. You will also be responsible for identifying and assisting with resolving any issues found during the manufacturing process alongside the engineering design team.Electrical Engineer / Panel Wirer - Package Details£35,000 to £45,000 dependent on experienceFull Training & Development for Progression to Electrical Software Engineer40 Hour Working Week (Overtime paid in excess of 40 hours)25 Days Holiday + Bank HolidaysPension SchemeFree On-Site ParkingElectrical Engineer / Panel Wirer - Experience RequirementsIdeally Educated to a minimum HND level in Electrical Engineering or hold a relevant electrical apprenticeshipAbility to read and interpret Electrical and Mechanical drawings and schematicsPrevious experience within Control Panel Build, Maintenance and Repair environment with a strong understanding of mechanical maintenanceAbility to fabricate, assemble and fit electrical and pneumatic components for various mechanical and electrical systemsSkilled in using hand and power toolsElectrical Control Panel Builder - Key ResponsibilitiesFabricate, fit and assemble electrical and pneumatic components for various electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring accurate records of all maintenance work are completed.Repair malfunctioning mechanical and electrical systemsParticipate in planning, product and development meetingsTroubleshoot and stress test products to minimise problems or recallsExperience of panel testing / fault findingInstall and wire control equipment
