Job DescriptionThe focus of this role is leading a team of scientists to deliver development, validation and sample analysis projects within Immunoassay. You will build close relationships with a number of our customers and be responsible for delivering high quality results in compliance with GLP/GCP.Key responsibilities include:Line management of Senior Scientists and Scientists within your teamOverall financial responsibility for the revenues generated within your teamOversee the personal development of team membersActively work with the Business Development team in the preparation of client proposals and support them to meet with new customers and seek out new businessDrive a culture of continuous improvement and lean working practices within the teamProject management of multiple regulatory studiesBuild strong partnerships with our customers to help them progress their drug development pipelineRobust scientific decision making in compliance with the M10 method validation guidelines for PK assays or FDA guidelines for Immunogenicity.Consistent on-time delivery of data and reports to our customersAbility to adapt, be flexible and find solutions to our customer's problemsQualifications and experience:Be enthusiastic, proactive and driven to go the extra mile to support our customers (essential)Focus on quality and possess excellent attention to detail (essential)Ability to communicate effectively; explaining the outcome of experiments to team members and customers (essential)Degree in Biological Science or equivalent relevant experience (essential)Experience of line management, coaching and mentoring (essential)Expertise in ELISA techniques (essential)Knowledge of M10 method validation guidelines for PK assays or FDA guidelines for Immunogenicity. (essential)Project management experience (desirable)Experience in a GXP accredited laboratory (desirable)
