Role: Senior Brand Designer

Company: Exciting Brand agency located in the heart of Shoreditch

Salary: £60K - £65K


This is a fabulous opportunity for an exciting Senior Brand Designer to join an established boutique agency and to develop in a tight-knit team.

We are looking for someone who will add to already great company culture, a diligent and detail oriented and adaptable operator.


A BIT ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is an exciting branding agency who have developed design and visual identities for the likes of Avanti, Which? and ekko. Their team and process is set up to deliver from end-to-end, strategy and design, to full production and physical application, based in the belief that the execution lives up to the vision.


REPORTS TO:

Creative Director


OBJECTIVE:

Deliver creative solutions that answer the creative brief and reflect the agency’s beliefs and aspirations.


SPECIFICATION:

  • Work closely with the writers, creative and client service team at all times.
  • Help mentor and develop young designers
  • Take on leadership responsibilities in the form of leading projects, pitch meetings, team meetings and client/stakeholder responsibilities
  • Develop creative ideas and concepts to an agreed brief.
  • Bring to life ideas across all media from print to digital/motion
  • A good understanding and/or experience of print and production, turning design into reality. Commission illustrators, photographers, etc.
  • Storyboard, animate and assist on film projects.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Build genuine relationships and trust with clients.
  • Able to present ideas and concepts confidently to our clients.
  • Professional approach to manage time and deadlines, including resourcing with the client service team.
  • Ensure the client services team is informed of all outside purchases and of discussions with clients where contact reports, budgets or timings are needed.
  • Strong design flair and up-to-date knowledge of industry software.


REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years agency experience (4 years experience at Senior level)
  • Experience leading projects, teams and mentoring
  • Experience creating strong, crafted & engaging content
  • A strong portfolio that showcases branding work for big brands.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in relevant operational software - Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience working with global and/or national brands
  • Ability to work in a tight team with a producer and other creatives
  • Good organisational, time management skills
  • The capacity to work independently and also collaboratively
  • Ability to work efficiently without compromising craft, quality or accuracy

  • Learn - Opportunity to learn, grow and experience wider creative areas such as film, experiential, retail design etc.- working alongside the animation and film partners.
  • Generate content for social media.
  • Internally support interns and Art schools in helping to nurture young creative talent.
  • A creative who leads by example.
  • A self-starter, well organised and self-motivated this person is a big picture thinker and problem solver.
