Reporting to: Engineering and Maintenance Manager
Based at: Glebe Farm Foods Ltd.
Role
We are currently looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer that has a good mix of electrical and mechanical experience to assist the Engineering and Maintenance Manager in providing support for all production activity.

Your responsibilities
Key aspects of the role include
- Conduct the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM)
- Ensure effective running, maximum uptime & minimal downtime for all our internal customers.
- Ensure that site PM and legal checks are completed in the agreed timescales
- Ensure H&S processes are being followed
- Ensure that all work is carried out to meet current legislative standards
- Ensure all parts that are required are requested/ordered in a timely manner, with particular attention to essential items/longer lead times.
- Propose and implement site production improvements
- Any other tasks that may reasonably be required by colleagues.
Skills and experience
This role requires the following technical skills and experience:
- Ideally possess a mechanical/electrical qualification or relevant experience
- Previous experience in the food manufacturing industry would be an advantage
This role requires the following personal attributes:
- Able to identify faults, especially in PLC control and instrumentation
- Demonstrable experience on steam pipe work
- Demonstrable experience on Boiler room BOAS Certification (training could be provided)
- Demonstrable experience on HVAC and chiller
- Effective communications skills at all levels
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Able to build good relationships with the wider team
