Job Description

We’re now recruiting for an experienced Portfolio Manager to join the team to lead our letting, management & customer service operations across our fast-growing property portfolio. This is an important role leading an established team and an exciting opportunity for a high calibre candidate seeking significant responsibility. 


Responsibilities

•\tTo manage the letting, management & customer service team for the property portfolio 

•\tTo have responsibility for the financial and operational performance of the portfolio 

•\tTo achieve or exceed planned rent income and expenditure targets and budgets 

•\tManage the transition & integration of new acquisitions into the business 

•\tEnsure the appearance & presentation of our properties meets expected high standards 

•\tDevelop, manage & motivate our ambassador and agent network to achieve letting & financial objectives 

•\tEnsure compliance with statutory, industry code & best practice requirements 

•\tStrengthen adherence to existing operational processes & standards 

•\tOrganise & manage annual tenant handover process planning and delivery each summer 

•\tSupport the implementation and embedding of planned new digital business processes 

•\tLead performance improvement projects & initiatives working with team members to implement 

•\tAddress & resolve escalated issues & complaints in a timely & efficient manner 

•\tResearch, monitor & report on market activity in existing and target cities 

•\tTo carry out any reasonable request from the senior management team and to work flexibly across the organisation as required. 



Experience

•\tStrong leadership & people management skills 

•\tExcellent organisation & time management skills 

•\tStrong budget management credentials & accountability 

•\tAdvanced communication & institutional quality reporting skills 

•\tCommitted to providing excellent level of customer service from initial contact through to tenancy end 

•\tAble to manage multiple projects running concurrently 

•\tManage team to enter consistently high-quality information in our management systems 

•\tStrong HMO and/or purpose-built student housing sector experience 

•\tFull UK driving licence highly desirable
