Senior Technical Lead / Principal Software Engineer

Central London offices – flexible Hybrid working

  • Salary £100-130k+ additional perks

A Senior Technical Lead / Principal Engineer opportunity to lead and deliver innovation within the company’s marketplace solutions. With heavy investment in technology and year-on-year market growth, the company are looking to continue their expansion by enhancing their product capabilities.


Hold a Principal level role guiding experienced software engineers and taking ownership of the tech roadmap and architecture decisions to steer the development of a scalable and modern processing system.


Key experience

  • Experience at Lead / Principal level within large scaled product environments
  • Prior experience developing Martech, Marketplace solutions and products, or similar
  • Technical decision making and leadership of modern architecture - Event Driven, Microservices, etc
  • A strong software engineering background and hands-on experience with the JavaScript stack: Node.js, Express.js, React.js, Next.js, etc
  • Well versed with modern cloud platforms, preference for GCP and AWS
  • Ability to engage with business stakeholders on go-to-market strategy and project updates, as required


Additional nice to have’s

  • Full stack ability
  • Experience in payment processing systems or similar
  • Google Cloud certification
