Our client is seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes to lead the development and optimisation of containerised solutions for their internal IT operations. This role offers the chance to take full ownership of the Kubernetes environment, ensuring scalability, security, and top-tier performance across their infrastructure.

As a DevOps/Platform Engineer , you’ll work closely with internal teams, providing expert guidance on containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Your role will be central to building future-proof solutions that not only meet current needs but also provide long-term reusability and scalability. You’ll be instrumental in driving automation, enabling faster and more efficient application development and testing.

Lead the deployment, security, and optimisation of Kubernetes and containerised solutions.
Develop container solutions that are reusable, scalable, and aligned with long-term business needs.
Ensure the Kubernetes environment is future-proof, secure, and always running at peak performance.
Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and tools such as Rancher, Harbor, Helm, Nexus, Artifactory, Python, Gitlab, and Ansible.
Strong proficiency with Linux OS (RHEL), including scripting and automation experience with Bash and Python.
Experience with Ansible for automating deployment and configuration tasks.
Strong understanding of monitoring and logging tools to ensure continuous service.
