Based in a brand new office in High Holborn, this role offers the opportunity to craft and lead our workplace environment. This role is essential in ensuring that all projects, administrative functions and day to day operations runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing office resources, and implementing effective operational procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to build strong relationship with clients and staff and a solid understanding of human resources practices.
Responsibilities
- Fostering a collaborative team environment, project managing office operations
- Provide creative solutions to workplace challenges encouraging efficiency and improvements in people, process and technology governance.
- Manage administrative tasks including clerical duties, scheduling, and correspondence.
- Manage accounts administration to include invoice processing, expenses and liaise with our Accountancy partner for tax and payroll purposes.
- Liaise with our external payroll provider
- Oversee administrative human resources functions including GDPR compliance, benefits, wellness and health & safety and liaise with our external HR provider for best people practice and compliance.
- Assist with FP&A duties including commercial budgeting, forecasting and reporting
- Ensure efficient office operations by developing and implementing organisational policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation using software tools like Sage and CRM systems.
- Organise social events for clients and employees.
- Coordinate office supplies and equipment maintenance to ensure a well-functioning workplace.
- Assist in training new employees on office protocols and systems.
- Manage internal communications proactively.
Skills
- Good understanding and experience within Consulting/Professional services arena.
- Proven experience in project managing office operations effectively.
- Xero and Sage experience.
- Proficient use of Social Media and cretive software (such as Adobe/ Canva)
- Someone wanting to make a positive impact on the planet and people
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in clerical work, including data entry, filing, and record keeping.
- Demonstrated ability to manage human resources administration effectively.
- Strong communication etiquette skills to maintain professionalism in all communications.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities when necessary.
