Job DescriptionUp to £55k DOE | Growing Technical Environment ConsultancyOur client, an established and growing environment consultancy with a 25-year track record is seeking a Carbon Accounting - Technical Lead to join their team based close to Exmoor in Somerset.Main responsibilities include:Provide carbon accounting services to existing long-term client baseDeveloping new opportunities for growth in the verification of emissions against a range of standards and methodologies across projects from a wide range of industries and geographiesDrive growth in our life cycle assessment offering and expand this to include Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) servicesContinue to grow our services in the built environment across a range of infrastructure development projectsSkills & qualifications requirements:Experience of whole-life carbon management in relation to infrastructure development, products and processesFamiliarity with a range of approaches to carbon measurement and assessment on projectsUnderstanding and use of carbon accounting methodologies, guidance documents such as PAS 2080:2016, and PAS2060 and knowledge of carbon calculation accounting and life cycle assessment tools such as OneClick LCA, Etool and EC3Experience working on a range of carbon and climate projectsYour benefits include:Company Bonus schemeFully stocked kitchen for breakfast and lunch every dayPensionPrivate Health CareTraining and Development opportunitiesCycle to work schemeBuy additional annual leaveTeam building, fun activities and eventsFree on-site parking, with electric charging pointsFriendly and supportive environmentThis is a hybrid role with regular travel to client sites.Note on Sponsorship: We regret to inform you that at this time, we are unable to offer sponsorship for work authorisation for this role.
