We are currently looking to fill a Senior Support Worker position in our residential care setting, and I believe your background makes you an excellent fit for this role.


As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing direct support to children and young people, helping them navigate their daily challenges while fostering a safe and nurturing environment. Your experience in this field will enable you to effectively address their emotional, social, and physical needs.


In this position, you will be responsible for:


  • Providing Direct Support: Working closely with children and young people to support their daily routines, assist with personal care, and encourage their development.
  • Leading Shifts: Taking charge of your team during shifts, ensuring that operations run smoothly, and providing guidance to junior staff members.
  • Care Planning: Collaborating with your team to develop and implement personalized care plans, adapting them as necessary to meet the evolving needs of the children.
  • Communication: Building strong relationships with families, external agencies, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to care and support.
