An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planner to join a leading name in Main Contracting to work on various Major Projects in and around Cambridgeshire. Our client has an exceptional name across the industry and are a great company to work for due to their excellent financial position and their strong pipeline of work ahead. They operate across a number of sectors including healthcare, residential, and education and more recently have a focus on developing the industrial sector within the business.As a Senior Planner you will be working across the Pre Construction & Construction Delivery Teams to offer planning expertise on multiple projects at tender, PCSA and delivery stages of projects that can range from £5M - £300M+ in value.About the role of a Senior Planner: Provide consistent, accurate and reliable programme data.Develop and communicate planning intent and proposed solutions competently using Asta PowerProject, P6 and Microsoft Project.Can communicate and present planned intent and logic assumptions clearly both internally and externally to the business unit.Develop project specific Programmes, Method Statements and Logistics Plans during both the bid and operational phases.Keep records of any assumptions or constraints that have been made whilst developing Project Programmes, Schedules and Logistics Plans.Requirements for the Senior Planner role:Demonstrate relevant previous experience in Building/Construction.Demonstrate a clear understanding of the construction process from inception to completion of a project.Demonstrate a good IT knowledge - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail whilst reviewing and compiling programme solutions.Possess good communication skills.What's on offer for a Senior Planner?This opportunity offers a fantastic benefits package including the following:Flexible and Hybrid workingCompetitive salary33 days annual leave entitlementGenerous pension contributionsLife AssuranceThis is fantastic opportunity as you will gain valuable exposure of the planning principles utilised on key projects and be apart of a great site team.If you want to hear more about this Senior Planner role, please apply with an up-to-date copy of your CV or contact Arri Kirby in our London office on (url removed)
