Senior Regulatory Reporting - Buy-Side


Company Description

Our client is a leading global investment manager who is looking to hire an experienced Senior Regulatory Reporting professional to oversee daily EMEA Reg Reporting operations and to supervise two analysts. You will own all regulatory reporting responsibilities for EU, UK, and AU.

It’s essential that you are have a detailed and in-depth understanding of various regulations rather than a high level surface knowledge.


Key responsibilities:

  • Supervise and escalate contact of daily rejection management of transaction reports to repositories and regulators
  • Advise team members on how to perform in-depth root cause analysis of issues against standard regulatory practice or best market practice
  • Supervise and escalate contact for Daily, Monthly and Quarterly reconciliations between the firm, Regulator and Repositories
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and supervise implementation internally to support regulatory reporting requirements across departments
  • Escalation contact for all EMIR /ASIC reporting related client queries
  • Escalation contact for completion of Client Requested Attestations & Certifications with respect to EMIR, UK EMIR, and ASIC
  • Collate KPI Reporting for presentation to the internal Reporting Panel and Senior Management
  • Identify areas for automation/simplification
  • Supervision of Incidents and Errors related to EMIR reporting and subsequent control process enhancements
  • Planning business user testing of changes to reporting system and the impact of any upstream data provider systems
  • Oversight of any direct client status reporting
  • Ensuring reporting remains in compliance with current and future legislation.
  • Active participation in related industry forums, broker seminars and external counsel communications


Qualifications, Experience, Education

  • Bachelor degree in STEM subject.
  • Holder of an Industry Recognized Qualification in both EMIR and MIFID Transaction and Trade Reporting
  • 5+ years of experience within Asset Management or other buy-side regulatory reporting.
  • Must have in depth understanding of EMIR, UK EMIR, ASIC and MIFID (ARM and APA) from Regulation to field population
  • Equity, Fixed Income and derivative security knowledge
