Location: Glendon Wood Hospital, Kettering Hours: 30 hours, Full-time Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits
Summary: Our brand new state-of-the-art day case hospital is located in Glendon, Kettering. This new facility is an extension of the services delivered by the nearby Woodland Hospital. The hospital has two operating theatres, a purpose built Endoscopy unit, 8 out- patient consultation rooms, a treatment room for minor surgery, out- patients physiotherapy as well as a full imaging unit consisting of MRI & CT scanners, USS, Mammography and X-ray facilities. We also have car parking for 103 cars, 10 disabled parking bays and 10 EV charging points.
The role: We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper to join our team at the Glendon Wood Hospital, based in Kettering. As the Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained across the respective department, whilst supporting the wider team members across various departments. Providing a range of housekeeping duties that will include: Maintaining the required standards of cleanliness by following correct policies, procedures and frequencies. Undertaking a variety of cleaning duties in line with the ward/area/location cleaning schedules (may include operating specialist cleaning equipment). Carrying out specialist cleaning and one off cleaning duties in line with the Supervisors requirements. Ensuring that there is a general, pleasant and well maintained environment for patients & visitors. This is a challenging but rewarding role and would be ideally suited to a motivated team player. Previous experience in a Housekeeping role is essential and knowledge of COSHH and infection control is also desirable, however training will be provided.
