Monday-Friday | 8.30am-5pm
Cherry Professional are recruiting for a Business Development Manager for a Nottingham based business to help achieve their growth ambitions, this role will suit someone with an Electrical background.
Key details:
To generate profitable new business in line with the overall market strategy
To develop opportunities to increase revenue generation with existing customers
To ensure a planned approach to customer management, protecting existing revenue, relationship building and customer retention
It is anticipated you will spend c.80% of your time on business development, generating new, profitable business
It is expected you will spend c.20% of your time managing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and building strong relationships
To sell the company’s services and products to ensure the achievement of targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and overall business objectives
To generate prospects, follow up leads, attend meetings, develop quotations, and convert quotes into new business
To ensure that the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and any other systems utilised by the company are maintained with up-to-date information
To work closely with business directors to ensure contractual obligations are met
Input on reporting, forecasting, planning and market intelligence plus new business initiatives
To provide market intelligence to the management team on competitor’s activity and new business opportunities
To work closely with the Marketing Team on developing marketing initiatives to generate new business
What they are looking for:
Minimum 2-year Electrical Lighting experience
Business development: 2+ years
Customer focused and commercially aware
Hungry and driven to succeed
Experienced targeting large businesses and organisations
Strong analytical and technical skills
Full driving licence
