Construction Manager

Logical Personnel Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a principle contractor from within the Power Generation sector who's won a major EfW contract in North London.
We require a Construction Manager for this project.
Essentially you will need:
* Recognised and relevant industry qualifications
* Previous Construction Management experience within Power Generation/EfW
* Very strong industrial boiler background
* Professional accreditations (such as RICS, CIOB, APM)
* Confident across all RIBA stages
* A successful track record running projects
This project will be focussing on the install of x2 HZI industrial boilers as part of an EfW new build. You will be required to:
* Plan, schedule and coordinate the project strategy and design, reporting progress and budget matters to the client
* Preparing and negotiating timetables, cost estimates, budgets and contracts
* Managing the construction process, supervising all activity on-site, responding to delays
* Collaborating with specialists such as engineers and contractors and clients
* Ordering equipment and materials, managing their use and managing the personnel involved
* Attend client meeting as necessary.
* Ensure all aspects of the build process are satisfactorily completed on time, within budget, and to the highest possible standards, with perfect delivery -snag free.
* Design/contractors control and co-ordination - update and advise accordingly.
* Manage all aspects of the build/installation process & monitor quality throughout.
* Enforcing safety procedures and minimising risk
