Grotto Assistant

Job Type: Seasonal/Part-Time

Working Hours: 9:45 AM – 4:00 PM (includes a 30-minute staggered break at either 1:00 PM or 1:30 PM)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Grotto Assistant (Elf) to support the smooth running of a festive Santa's Grotto. The role involves ensuring the Grotto is prepared and maintained throughout the day, supporting Santa, and helping to create a magical experience for visitors. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who loves the holiday season and enjoys working in a fun, customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collect Grotto Key: Pick up the key from security at the start of each shift.

* Prepare the Grotto: Ensure the Grotto is in good condition before opening, making sure all decorations and equipment are in place and the area is clean and welcoming.

* Check Payment System: Verify that the payment system is functioning properly at the start of each day and troubleshoot any issues.

* Assist Santa: Support the Santa with any requests, ensuring they are comfortable and have everything they need throughout the day.

* Customer Interaction: Assist visitors, take pictures when requested, and help create a memorable experience for children and families.

* Costume Management: Arrive at 9:45 AM to get dressed in the provided costume and organise the Grotto area. Costumes will be stored in the management suite when not in use.
