Role: Aluminium TIG Platers/Fabricators

Rate: £20.59 - £53.54 (p/hr) and annual bonus.

You can grow your skills as we place you on an assignment into our client based in Newton Aycliffe, in a challenging and quality driven manufacturing environment.

Our client is a world leader in Railway Rolling Stock assembly and manufacturing. The facility's activities use the latest manufacturing and computer analysis techniques, and a state-of-the-art paint plant.

The facility is easily accessible via bus, car and train and is located just off the A1. The nearest bus/train stop is just an 11 minute walk from the facility. With routes from Sunderland, Hartlepool, Durham, Teesside and surrounding areas.

£20.59 per hour day shift
£26.77 per hour night shift
Overtime - Monday - Saturday - x1.5
Overtime - Sunday - X2Shifts:

Days: Monday - Thursday, 06:00 - 18:00.
Night shift: Monday - Thursday, 18:00 - 06:00.About you:

Experienced with working on build/welding fixtures to tight tolerances
Have the ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team
Be accustomed to modern working practices e.g. following a standard work procedure
Carry out some manual lifting
Work with a sense and awareness of safety at all times
Previous experience of TIG Plating/Fabricating with aluminium Application process:

Applicants will need to pass a skills test
Weld test slots available at a time that suits youThis is an ongoing, long term temporary contract role.

Please be aware that PPE is mandatory on the factory floor. This will include ear defenders, "T" shirts/polo shirts, overalls, safety boots and safety glasses and will be supplied to you.
