We’re now looking for a full time, permanent Training School Assistant to join us and learn the ropes, helping to deliver training and demonstrations, while building valuable skills along the way.

What You’ll Be Doing 

This is a great chance for someone with a basic floor laying background to expand their knowledge or skill set or someone with no experience and a passion to learn, to dive in and start learning a new trade.  

As a Training School Assistant, you’ll get to work closely with our experienced team and support the day-to-day running of our Training Schools. From setting up courses and helping with practical training sessions and assisting learners in the classroom with the theoretical aspects of installing our products, you’ll be gaining hands-on experience every day. 

Your Day-to-Day: 

Learn as You Go: Help with product installation training and get hands-on experience with our Altro products. 

Support Training: Assist in training contractors on how to install our products to the highest standards. 

Health & Safety: Help keep the Training School and equipment safe and tidy – no experience needed, just a willingness to learn the ropes. 

Organize & Maintain: Help monitor tools and stock levels, and assist with ordering materials for the training school. 

Course Setup: Help set up and break down training courses, making sure everything runs smoothly for our learners. 

What We’re Looking For 

You don’t need to have any experience in flooring or walling installations to apply. We’re looking for someone who’s eager to learn, works well in a team, and is ready to get stuck in 

You’ll Need: 

A genuine interest in learning a new trade and working with your hands. 

Strong communication skills and a willingness to work closely with others. 

A good attitude and the ability to take on responsibility. 

A full UK driving licence and live within a commutable distance of our Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire HQ where our Training School is based. 

A good level of basic computer literacy.
