Role: IT Support Engineer

Location: Nottingham
Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM

Our client is dedicated to manufacturing and distributing high-quality products for the hydraulics industry. They are actively looking for a skilled IT Professional to join their team. In this role, you will support operations, helping to maintain and enhance IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

* Build and configure new software for Windows and macOS

* Perform computer repairs and upgrades (Mac and Windows)

* Provide support and troubleshooting for Office 365

* Manage backup and security solutions (local, network, and cloud)

* Develop and use relational databases (preferably FileMaker and/or MySQL)

* Apply programming skills (PHP and web development preferred)

Required Skills:

* Experience with software builds for Windows and macOS

* Proficiency in computer repairs and upgrades

* Familiarity with Office 365 troubleshooting and support

* Knowledge of backup and security best practices

* Experience with relational databases (FileMaker/MySQL)

* Basic programming knowledge (PHP and web development)

Advantageous Skills (not required):

* Experience with C#, C++, and/or Flutter

* eCommerce knowledge

* Familiarity with Cyber Essentials

* Networking software configuration and hardware calibration experience
