Class 1 Driver

Position: Class 1 Driver

Location: Worcester

Salary: £170 per shift (based on a standard 10-hour shift) - PAYE

Shifts: Typically, less than 10 hours, ensuring a better work-life balance

Work Type: Trunking (no manual handling involved)

Vehicles: New fleet for a comfortable driving experience

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate Class 1 vehicles for trunking duties, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.

* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor on the road.

* Conduct thorough vehicle checks prior to departure to ensure safety and compliance.

* Support the loading and unloading process (no manual handling required), ensuring that deliveries are completed accurately and on time.

* Complete all necessary paperwork and logs in accordance with company policies.

Requirements:

* A valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license.

* Valid CPC and Digi Tacho cards.

* Proven experience in trunking or similar driving roles is desirable.

* A strong understanding of road safety regulations and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
